The Mannai family
has been trading in Bahrain since 1824. In those early days, the family traded
in pearls, fine jewellery and real estate.
Following the independence of Bahrain in 1972, two members of the Mannai family, Mr. Mohammed Mannai and Mr. Darwish Mannai, joined together to create the 'Mannai Trading & Investment Co. Ltd.' with the aim of diversifying the family business activities.
Since its inception, the Company has grown, supporting the development of the nation, instigated by the planning and forward thinking of the government in its fiscal and industrialisation policies.
In keeping
with the economical growth of the State of Bahrain, the Company is expanding
its activities, in order to serve the needs of both the buisness sector
and the community at large.
